- Test lift, tilt, and side-shift functions for smooth operation
- Lubricate mast chains, rollers, and guide components
Tires & Wheel Inspection
- Inspect tire tread depth, pressure, and wear patterns
- Check wheel bearings and lubricate if necessary
- Ensure lug nuts are tight and rims are damage-free
- Replace damaged tires or wheels as needed
Brake & Safety Systems Inspection
- Test service and parking brake function
- Inspect brake pads and lines for wear or damage
- Check horn, backup alarm, and lights for operation
- Verify seat belts, safety decals, and fire extinguisher
Electrical System & Battery Maintenance
- Inspect battery charge, terminals, and connections
- Check all electrical wiring and fuses for faults
- Test indicator lights, dashboard instruments, and gauges
General Lubrication & Cleaning
- Lubricate all pivot points, linkages, and moving parts
- Clean forklift exterior, removing debris and dirt
- Check for loose bolts, fasteners, and tighten as needed
