Absorber & Condenser Inspection
- Monitor absorber vacuum and check for air leaks
- Ensure condenser water flow rate and temperature remain within range
- Inspect solution spray distribution and optimize as needed
Evaporator & Chilled Water Review
- Check chilled water flow, supply, and return temperature differential
- Monitor evaporator refrigerant pressure and tube condition
- Verify chilled water pump operation and electrical load
Electrical & Control System Verification
- Inspect power supply and motor amperage for all pumps
- Validate control panel displays and sensor readings
- Test alarms, interlocks, and automated valve positions
Water Treatment & Safety Systems
- Check chilled and condenser water treatment levels and pH
- Inspect strainers and filters for debris accumulation
- Test safety shutdowns, vacuum breakers, and crystallization alarms
Daily Documentation & Reporting
- Record all temperature, pressure, and flow data in logbook
- Note any maintenance performed or issues detected
- Update daily checklist to track performance trends and corrective actions
