Complete this comprehensive yearly overhaul to maintain forklift safety, reliability, and compliance.
Pre-Overhaul Planning
- Schedule downtime of 1-2 weeks for major overhaul
- Gather certified technicians, parts, fluids, and specialized tools
- Review maintenance history and prior inspections
- Apply lockout/tagout and establish a safe service area
- Inspect and clean forklift before starting overhaul
Engine and Drivetrain Overhaul
