Critical Measurements Documentation
- Measure fork heel thickness and record data
- Check mast chain stretch and guide wear levels
- Inspect tyre tread depths and document readings
- Verify and log key bolt torque specifications
Safety Systems Testing
- Test brakes, steering, horn, lights, and emergency stop systems
- Conduct tilt protection and stability tests
- Load test the forklift to verify rated lifting capacity
- Document all safety test results for compliance tracking
Maintenance & Reporting
- Lubricate mast, chains, and moving parts per service manual
- Schedule follow-up repairs based on findings
- Update maintenance logbook and compliance certifications
- Prepare and file full monthly inspection report
