Pre-Inspection Setup
- Park forklift safely, apply parking brake, lower forks to floor
- Disconnect charger, ensure safe energy isolation
- Allow components to cool if recently operated
- Gather required tools and inspection forms
- Review previous weekly reports and active repair tickets
Battery & Electrical System Inspection
- Check battery charge level and condition
- Inspect battery terminals, cables, and ventilation
- Test charger operation and battery load cycle
- Inspect wiring harnesses, fuses, and controllers
- Document any electrical anomalies or overheating signs
Hydraulic System Assessment
- Check hydraulic fluid level and inspect for leaks
- Test lifting, lowering, and tilt hydraulic functions
- Inspect hoses, seals, and connections for damage
- Ensure hydraulic filters are clean and functional
- Document hydraulic system performance trends
Mast, Fork, & Steering Verification
- Inspect forks for damage, cracks, or heel wear

Safety System & Control Checks

- Test safety interlocks and operational overrides
Operational Testing & Documentation
