3. Hydraulics & Transmission
- Verify hydraulic fluid level and clarity
- Inspect hoses and cylinders for cracks or leaks
- Test operation of lift, tilt, and side shift
- Check transmission response, fluid level, and any vibration
4. Brake System & Operator Safety Features
- Inspect brake pads and test parking/service brakes
- Ensure horn, backup alarm, and lights work correctly
- Check seatbelt, overhead guard, and fire extinguisher
- Verify safety decals and capacity plate visibility
5. Electrical & Battery System
- Check battery charge and electrolyte level
- Inspect terminals for corrosion and tightness
- Test dashboard indicators, wiring, and fuses
6. General Visual Checks & Cleanliness
- Inspect tires, forks, mast, and chassis for wear or damage
- Clean unit and remove debris from engine compartment
- Ensure safety signage and operational labels are readable
