Full Engine & Emissions Diagnostics
- Perform diagnostic scan on engine control system.
- Check diesel particulate filter (DPF) status and clean if needed.
- Test crankcase pressure and compression balance.
- Measure emissions output and adjust injection system.
- Document engine health rating and thresholds.
Structural & Frame Integrity
- Inspect chassis for corrosion, weld cracks, or fatigue.
- Check tilt cylinder mounts and carriage assembly.
- Inspect forks for deformation and heel thickness loss.
- Evaluate overhead guard and operator cab condition.
- Check counterweight mount and rear structure for damage.
Annual Brake & Drive Train Evaluation
- Inspect drive axle, differential, and wheel hubs for leaks or wear.
- Perform brake torque test under controlled conditions.
- Measure brake lining and rotor wear.
- Check parking brake hold capacity on incline.
- Lubricate and adjust linkages and cables as needed.
Electrical System & Battery Load Testing
- Perform battery load test and voltage drop analysis.
- Test starter and alternator output under operating load.
- Inspect fuse box, harness routing, and weatherproofing.
- Test all lights, indicators, and gauges for accuracy.
Annual Records & Compliance Review
- Update asset maintenance log with inspection summary.
- Review all previous reports for repeat issues.
- Document compliance to OSHA 1910.178(p) & (q).
- Recommend upgrades or replacements based on trends.
