3. Safety Equipment & Warning Systems
- Test horn, lights, backup alarm, and emergency stop switch.
- Verify seat belt function and inspect for frays or cuts.
- Ensure fire extinguisher is mounted and fully charged.
- Check presence and legibility of all warning labels and signs.
4. Operational Function Testing
- Start engine and listen for abnormal noise, smoke, or delay.
- Test brake and steering response under no-load conditions.
- Operate lift, tilt, and side-shift functions for smoothness and control.
- Check instrument panel for warning lights or error codes.
5. Post-Inspection and Reporting
- Complete digital checklist via Oxmaint app or dashboard.
- Report deficiencies and tag out equipment if unsafe to use.
- Record operator name, time, date, and shift on file.
- Save or print checklist for compliance documentation.
