2. Visual & Structural Check
- Look for leaks, loose hoses, missing bolts
- Check tire pressure, tread, and damage
- Inspect forks for cracks, bends, or wear
- Examine mast and lift chains for lubrication and wear
- Confirm carriage and backrest are secured
3. Fluid Level Checks
- Check engine oil, hydraulic oil, and coolant
- Inspect brake fluid reservoir (if applicable)
- Check diesel fuel level and cap security
- Look under machine for fresh fluid drips
- Document any top-offs in log
4. Safety System Tests
- Test horn, lights, backup alarm, and indicators
- Verify seatbelt operation
- Check mirrors and safety decals for visibility
- Inspect overhead guard for structural damage
- Ensure fire extinguisher is charged and mounted
5. Operational Check (Engine On)
- Start engine, listen for unusual sounds
- Cycle lift, tilt, and side shift (if equipped)
- Drive forward and reverse briefly in a clear area
- Test steering and braking under low speed
- Watch instrument gauges for warning lights
6. Final Review & Documentation
- Complete checklist form, noting any issues
- Tag and report unsafe equipment immediately
- Submit inspection digitally via Oxmaint APP
- Retain inspection record for OSHA compliance
- Proceed only if equipment is cleared as safe
