- Park forklift on level surface with forks lowered

2. Tyres and Wheel Integrity
- Check tyre pressure and tread wear
- Inspect wheels and rims for cracks or dents
- Grease wheel bearings if needed
3. Fluid and Lubrication Review
- Check engine oil condition and level
- Inspect hydraulic, brake, and transmission fluid clarity
- Check coolant level and radiator integrity
- Top up or replace fluids as needed
4. Mast and Fork Inspection
- Inspect mast chain tension and lubrication
- Check fork heel wear (must be <10%)
- Lubricate carriage rollers and pivot points
- Ensure forks are aligned and not bent
5. Brake and Safety Systems
- Test service and parking brakes on incline
- Verify lights, horn, alarm, and backup signal
- Check seatbelt, safety plate, and fire extinguisher
6. Electrical and Battery
- Clean and tighten battery terminals
- Check wiring harness and alternator function
- Test lights and all indicators
7. Operational Test
- Start engine and monitor idle behavior
- Check hydraulic response and control levers
- Drive forward/reverse and test lift capacity
- Log any abnormalities
8. Documentation and Follow-up
- Complete checklist with inspector name and date
- Note deficiencies and generate repair work order
- File record in Oxmaint portal
