3. Fluid Level Verification
- Check oil, hydraulic, coolant, and brake fluid levels
- Inspect fuel cap, fuel level, and fuel water separator
- Look for visible leaks under the unit
4. Forks and Mast
- Measure fork heel thickness and inspect fork straightness
- Test full mast lift and tilt cycle for noise or lag
- Lubricate mast rollers, pins, and chains
5. Brake & Safety Systems
- Test service brake and parking brake hold
- Check horn, lights, alarms, and fire extinguisher
- Ensure safety decals and seatbelt mechanisms are intact
6. Hydraulics & Operational Test
- Inspect hoses and fittings for wear or leaks
- Operate hydraulic controls for lift, tilt, and steer functions
- Check engine start quality, idle RPM, and exhaust clarity
7. Engine & Exhaust
- Check cooling system, fan, belts, and radiator
- Inspect exhaust system and mountings for integrity
- Change engine oil and filter every 200 hours/monthly
8. Battery & Electrical
- Clean terminals, check water level, and charge battery
- Inspect wiring harness for signs of abrasion
- Test electrical features such as indicators and gauges
