Visual & Operational Overview
- Inspect structure, mast, tires, and forks for wear or deformation
- Check decals, guards, fire extinguisher, and warning labels
- Review last week's logs and confirm inspection intervals
- Record total operating hours and document usage anomalies
- Ensure seatbelt, lights, horn, alarms, and gauges function properly
Engine & Fluid Systems
- Inspect diesel engine: oil level, filter, noise, emissions, leaks
- Check fuel, coolant, transmission, and brake fluid levels
- Analyze fuel usage trends and inspect exhaust components
- Top off or replace fluids as necessary with correct grade
- Log abnormal engine performance or dashboard alerts
Hydraulic & Transmission Checks
- Inspect hydraulic lines, cylinders, mast rollers, and pump
- Test lift, tilt, and side-shift operations under load
- Check for fluid leaks at hose ends and cylinder seals
- Ensure steering and drive transmission function smoothly
- Lubricate chains, mast bearings, and pivot joints
Brake, Control & Safety Inspection
- Measure brake pad wear and test service and parking brakes
- Check seatbelt locking mechanism and overhead guard alignment
- Verify kill switch, lights, alarms, and backup alert operation
- Ensure capacity plate and OSHA decals are present and legible
- Test drive functions—forward/reverse with and without load
Documentation & Follow-Up
- Record findings on weekly inspection log and upload to Oxmaint
- Flag components requiring further inspection or replacement
- Capture digital technician signature and inspection date
- Submit weekly OSHA-compliant report for records retention
- Schedule follow-up actions in maintenance calendar
