- Inspect bed linens for cleanliness and stain-free condition
- Check mattress, pillows, and headboard for hygiene
- Ensure blankets are neatly folded or replaced as needed
- Check chairs and sofas for wear, stains, or debris
Lighting, Electrical, and Safety
- Test all light switches, lamps, and power outlets
- Verify smoke detector and fire alarm presence
- Check television, remote control, and AC/heating units
- Ensure safety instructions and evacuation map are displayed
Bathroom Sanitation
- Clean sink, toilet, tub/shower, and tiles thoroughly
- Refill toiletries and tissues; confirm proper disposal bins
- Ensure faucets and drains work properly
- Check towels and bath mats for cleanliness and placement
Final Touches & Documentation
- Replace missing supplies or amenities (water bottles, slippers, etc.)
- Perform last walkthrough to spot any missed area
- Log inspection details and sign off on completion sheet
- Update housekeeping supervisor and mark room status
