Functionality Test
- Activate flush valve and observe flow performance
- Ensure water shuts off completely after flush cycle
- Check for continuous water flow or ghost flushing issues
- Verify flush volume is adequate and matches specifications
- Ensure sensor (if auto-flush) triggers correctly and resets
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Turn off water supply and disassemble valve if needed
- Clean internal components to remove scale or sediment
- Replace worn-out washers, seals, or diaphragms
- Lubricate moving parts if specified by manufacturer
- Reassemble and test valve operation post-maintenance
Documentation & Sign-Off
- Log date and time of inspection in maintenance records
- Note any issues found and parts replaced
- Record technician name and signature
- Schedule next inspection date per facility standards
